Everything's banned in Malaysia. Seriously, click on the link and look at some of the other movies that are. The 40 Year Old Virgin, Sideways, Ray, Shrek???

I would love to hear the reasoning behind banning The Geena Davis Show

because you can't have a talking vagina running it's own show

Viggo's bare butt, Maria's pubic hair and half a breast? The son's GF's navel, *beep* word, marijuana, guns. Probably in that order but w/ Maria being the most offensive -- talking vagina and all -- even a lawyer for heaven's sake.

It's a pretty sad deal actually. I mean who bans a talking pig. Even stupider they can't even chew gum in Malaysia

Yup, robz nailed it. EVERYTHING's banned in Malaysia.

The first time I heard of this was "Schindler's List" because a bunch of naked Jews being sent to the gas chambers was considered "pornographic." Spielberg wouldn;t allow those scenes to be censored. Yeah, like a bunch of emaciated naked people about to be murdered is going to give anyone an erection.

"Daredevil" was banned because the word, "devil" appears in the title, and that a "murderous vigilante" is not good. Sigh.

"Hellboy" WAS screened, but renamed, "Super Sapiens." WTF?!

>>Everything's banned in Malaysia.<<

holy s**t, i can't believe the list!... you're right!... they banned "ray" lol... the funniest banning has to be "zoolander"... i can just see everyone in the censorship panel going nuts when mugatu drops the "kill the president of malaysia" line...

The chewing gum thing is elsewhere!

They banned "Babe" because pork is not kosher in Islam. "Haram" is the Malay word for it.

I've watched TV there before and words like "pig," "pork," "Jew" and "Israel" are bleeped out!

OMG how can you be such an idiot. Malaysia is not the only Muslim country in the world, 20% is Buddhist and the either 15% is Hindu and Christian. plus there a many other Islamic countries much more conservative then Malaysia who didn’t ban this movie or Babe. So don’t go an spouting your idiotic slander.

Hey, at least they allowed Passion of Christ, given that tickets can only be sold in churches, brilliant? no?

we watch our movies on bootleg dvds, or downloads, can't blame us, there's no way we can watch em on big screens.
